2010 Class Description
Hot Street is a heads-up class designed for passenger cars and trucks stock appearing looks and big time horsepower. This is a nitrous or no power adder only class for vehicles equipped with a single fogger or single plate system (double cross bar and fogger style plates are legal), ONE nitrous solenoid, ONE fuel solenoid, ONE purge solenoid for plate system. Vehicle can have only ONE 10-lbs nitrous bottle. Purge must be redundant and inline with nitrous supply line. Purge exit must be away from cowl entrance, and face towards rear of vehicle. NO Push System or support bottle allowed.
Small Block

Aftermarket cast iron blocks and aftermarket cylinder heads allowed on small blocks and big block entries. NO ALUMINUM BIG BLOCKS ALLOWED. Conventional heads only on big block entries. No 8-bolt valve cover type heads on GM big blocks and NO C, D or E heads on big block Fords. Intakes must be cast with no welding. No sheet metal intakes allowed. Single dominator or 4150 carburetor. Motor plates and solid mounts allowed. Engine in stock location and must not touch firewall. Mufflers required on all vehicles no inserts. Turbochargers and superchargers are not allowed. Progressive nitrous controllers ARE allowed. Racing gas or E85 ONLY. NO methanol.

Body
Stock body lines must be retained. Fiberglass componenets must look like factory parts being replaced (doors, fenders). No forward facing hood scoops allowed. Lexan must look like stock glass. Aftermarket custom wings allowed with a 16” maximum. Wheel base must be within plus or minus one inch of factory specifications.
Interior
No gutted interior. Vehicle must have 2 front seats and factory type dash.
Front chassis and suspension
Vehicle must have stock frame rails intact from the rear of driver’s seat forward.
1981 and earlier GM vehicles may have a bolt on aftermarket Smith Racecraft type front end.
Pre 1974 Mustangs and Falcons may have a Mustang II front suspension conversion like Fatman Fabrication.
Bolt on tubular K-member and control arms are permitted.
Rack and pinion conversions allowed.
Wheelbase
The wheelbase must measure within 1" of factory wheelbase.
Rear Chassis suspension
Stock suspension, ladder bar and 4-link back-half suspension allowed. Mini tubs are allowed.
Firewall
Stock Firewall must be retained and in factory location. Minor notching allowed. Smoothing of firewall allowed for appearance. No part of engine may touch firewall.
Transmission
Any OEM type automatic or manual transmissions allowed.
Electrical
Headlights and taillights required and must be functional. Electric bracket racing aids optical sensors or pneumatic throttle stop not allowed. Any ignition box allowed. Progressive nitrous controllers are allowed. Traction control not allowed.
Wheels and tires
All Vehicles must race on 28 x 10.5 slicks or smaller sidewall designation. No W tires allowed. Stiff sidewall slicks allowed. Maximum 12'' wide wheel.
No wheelie bars allowed.
Rules may be changed or amended as need arises. All tech decisions are final.
