Ducky probably wanted to get on home as he had already raced at Rockingham Sat before coming to Pageland and had to be back there early Sunday. When did they start taking winners pics anyway????

Don we've been taking pictures almost all season with a new camera that we got for the track. The problem we've had is they weren't coming out. I changed some of the settings a couple weeks ago and they seem to be OK now. I posted the pictures at the bottom of the "Results Page" for June 6. I'll go by Doug' and get the memory card from Saturday night and get the pictures posted this week. I went ahead and posted the results last night once Wendy sent me a text with the information.

Absolutely not. How could you even come up with that? I love Pageland and work my butt off to support the track every chance I get. This is the second time this year that I've left one race track I was already at to get to Pageland. I've found that everybody at Pageland is like family and super nice... who are you?

I stopped at my pit, and some spectators stopped to talk. (I talked to a number of spectators both during and after the race... I think that's important.) I started to take the car up, then stopped to talk with the guy that I ran in the finals. By the time we got done, the lights were out. Doug was already walking up the pit road, and brought me the payout, and said we could take a pic there in the pits, but we both agreed that it would be fine to just use the pic from the season-opening win, since it was late, dark, and everyone was hot and exhausted. And to be honest, I haven't seen the winner's circle pics used anywhere, anyway... If they're posted somewhere and I missed it, let me know, as I would like to get a copy of the one from earlier this year. They *do* mean a lot to me.

Oh. Just figured out that it's "crewchief". What's your beef with me?

No beef Beard.
Just found it odd about the picture...heard 'em paging ya and you never came down. It really appeared as if you were "blowing it off".
My bad if I came accross a bit coarse. My wife says I have a tendancy to do that :eyeroll: ...Whatever.
Nah seriously!
O yeah, I was 009crewchief, but we finally named the race team and I changed my screen name.
I plan on introducing myself as soon as We get 009 settled down.
So far this year: Oil leaks, Burnt plugs, Rocker arm broke, Busted shock, Busted the rear-end with PTRA,and last Sat the Frickin battery quit.
I'm pretty sure nothing else can go wrong:nailbite:
 I think we may be in a slump.

I just don't understand why someone would want to *start* a conversation by being confrontational. Would it have been so hard to ask, "Why'd you miss the winner's circle photo?" first?

Next time you "don't have a beef" with someone, please find out the real story before posting wild accusations. Your comment was beyond coarse, it was offensive.

If you are civil and cordial, others will be too.

Ok, here we go with the War of Big Words again.
Just giving you my perception man...
If fans, competitors, and facilities are as important to YOU, as YOU say they are, I am doing YOU a favor in bringing this possible perception to your attention... whether it was accurate or not.
BTW I'm available for some free-lance PR work...for a small fee of course.
