For the month of September we are going to experiment with a little different format or structure if you will for the purse. For the time being we are shelving the Quick-8 program from our Saturday ET Bracket events and will be rolling those proceeds directly over into the overall Pro Class purse. For those of you who raced with us last year you're familiar with this format where we have an incentive program where once a specific number is reached we roll the entry fee back into the purse allowing it to grow, reflecting the size of the field. For the month of September we will add $40 per car to the Pro purse once we reach 40 cars. So as you can see the more the class grows the more the purse grows. It worked VERY well last year and I see no reason why it won't now. Please understand this is an effort on our part to help support and grow your program. I hope and trust those of you that have spent a great deal building and maintaining the more expensive quicker cars realize this is for the growth of the whole class. Maybe we can reinstate the reward program for the Quick-8 sometime in the future. So in a nut shell once the minimum 40 cars is met $40 per entry will be added to the $1,200 winners purse. Again we'll try this for the month of September and hopefully carry it through the remainder of the 2006 season. On a final note let me say on behalf of owners and staff we appreciate each and every one you you that choose to race with us or participate as a fan.
