wanting to change tires from M/T to goodyear .
would like some feed back on tire compounds
I run a hard tail dragster with a sbc goodyear has two listed a D6 and D1
and one out there know which works best ??
right now I run a 33x16.5x15 M/T my son has Goodyear 33x16x15 and there an 1 1/2 shorter then mine but seem to work better. thanks for any info TOM

Tom, I believe I ran the D1 compound with my last hard tail. Same size as yours I think. Been a while. Have you thought about Hoosier's?

Brian .thanks for the reply if I get my convertor back this week I'm going to try AL's tires on my car his are a D6 compound they seem to work well on his hardtail. but looking around at mooresville most were running D1. what compounds do you run in Hoosier ??? Thanks Tom

Honestly can't remember right now, I'll check this afternoon and see. I think CO6? I deal with Keith Hudspeth and he keeps me rolling! Keith knows all the compound ins and outs. If you want I can pm you his number.

Hello Tom, my name is Roy Hickok we used to race at mooresville in the ninties I hade a 68 chevelle with a big block in it i used to buy your old slicks from you i hope you remember me anyway sense i moved to Florida i have made about 1200 to 1500 passes in the 12 years i've been here. Ive ran every tire made except toyo's and the best slick bar none is HOOSIERS. call keith @ 865-414-4596 he is our HOOSIER rep. and should be yours too, tell him you know BIG ROY with the green buick that lives in FL. don't know if it will help but he always takes care of me.
