This Saturday, September 9th, we will reintroduce the Trophy Class. This class is open to all licensed, tagged, driven to the track, no electronics, vehicles. If you enter the trophy class it's the only class you can compete in for the night. The entry fee for the trophy class will be $10.00.

Who knows, maybe I can get Jeff to blow the dust off the Nova and enter the trophy class.

Hey Mike,
How's the response so far to the trophy class. Maybe you can get some of your Test-N-Tuners to come out Saturday and give it a shot.Project True Street goes to the chassis shop for a rollcage Saturday Morning.(We're beginnin to make progress). Can't wait for Saturday.

Haven't had a whole lot of response yet. I'm trying to get some of the Carolina Goat Herd folks to bring their late model GTO's. I may bring mine and see if Doug' wife Gayle wants to drive it in the trophy class Saturday night. I'll have Doug hit the PA hard tomorrow night if we don't get rained out.

Jr. are you racing your truck Saturday night in trophy?

What if someone lives over an hr away and cant drive to the track(I mean can but drivin and hr or so at 60 and 65 in a tow vehicle isnt the same as driving a car with 4.56's at 45 mph).I guess one could unload at the hardees and drive it in the rest of the way right? LOL

I won't tell if you don't!!!!! lol I wouldn't want ot see somebody who races elsewhere show up with a foot braker and just wear out the people who are learning or haven't raced in over 12 years.I'm building another car but just haven't raced in a long time. Just wanna see how much I forgot.

Depending on turnout two time runs may be the norm Saturday. Of course Jr.with your skill and talent you won't need to make any practice time runs.

Brian as long has it has DOT tires, tag, exhaust, NO electronics except line lock, a legitimate street car or truck then you can drag it, tow it or drive it to the track and enter the trophy class. Remember this is the only class the car and driver can enter for the day.

Is this going to be a bracket class?Im sure it would with only a few restraints, only way it would seem fair.Ive never raced a class as Ive always T&T'ned.

Oh by all means this will be a dial type format just like your typical ET bracket race. You may have have 1970 Camaro with a small block 350 running 8.60' running a 440 equipped Dart running 9.20'. You'll be on a staggered tree trying to run closest to your dial-in without breaking out. If you can cut 00 lights and run dead-on you should make a few rounds. Ah, just kidding, if someone has 00 lights and dead-on in trophy many rounds there might be something fishy going on.LOL

Jr. I'll offer you a mulligan. You can pay me directly for 00 dead-on runs for a small sum.LOL Heck, if I could manipulate the computer system like many people think can be done I'd be a wealthy man. Especially as the point's seasons winds down. The next thing you'll want is a dash-for-cash round.:propeller:

Man, bring it on. With all the interest in racing trucks in the trophy class maybe we need to call it the truck trophy class. The more the merrier.
