Attention all racers and family,
As you all know Buddy lost his house and belonging in a house fire last Friday. We raised $700.00 last Friday night. I would like to thank everyone for all the kindness. We are going to have a bake auction this Saturday at the track. So please bring your sweet tooth with you. If you would like to bring something to auction off that would be great. But we also need buyers as well. There will be homemade cakes, cookies and pies. Doug will be the auctioneer of this bake auction. Buddy has done alot for us owner and racers as well so let show him how much we care for him. So tell me what you think. Can we do this!!!!!:helmet:

PS. We also will be doing 50/50 tickets this friday and Saturday as well.

Thanks
Lynn Starnes

I am kind of the "new guy" at Pageland having only raced there for a couple of years but in my eyes Buddy would do about anything for anyone and his community of Pageland. If we can't help someone like that we are a pretty sorry bunch. So lets all give it up for the man.

Also I used to be a licenced auctioneer when I lived in Baltimore. Haven't done it in years but if Doug needs some help I will.

Just saw this post tonight, and called Buddy right away. I won't be able to make it to the track til mid September, but I'll get up with him and help however I can. Thanks for letting us know.

Just glad he's alright. We lost a young Stock Eliminator racer from Ohio in a house fire this week. It was a nasty shock to the racing community.
