Gaging Interest for a High Roller Jr. Dragster Race Saturday October 14th

Looking at something a little different for our Saturday October 14th event. We host the Top 8 Doorslammers this date and have a couple of things in the works and felt like a bigger Jr. program would pump up the kids and yes, you parents as well. What I'm looking at is an 8 car qualified field. Field will be run on a Pro Ladder. No Buy Backs. If less than 8 cars payout would be 100% of entry fee. If we have 12 or more entries there will be a second chance race paying $200 Win, $100 R/U.

8 car field. $ 100 entry?, only 500 too win, maybe its just me, but the winnings need to be jacked up, or entry fee down, ill even bet that scottie will put his dragster driver back into a jr. for that one.

OK, I'll take the bait. 16 car qualified field, $1,500 Win, $300 R/U, $125 Semi, $100 Entry Fee. NO BUY BACKS. Pro ladder. One round of practice with two rounds of qualifying. If less than 16 cars 100% of entry fee paid back for total purse. Money can NOT be split. Now once you leave the tower the money is your to do with as you wish. Seems pretty good for 4 rounds of racing. In all seriousness I don't think 16 Jr. Dragsters is a realistic number. Maybe I'm wrong. I just can't fathom that many willing to step up and run with the big dogs.
