Coming Back!

Hello JPD Staff, Racers & Fans!

After a 2+ month absence from racing - rebuilding my motor, piece by piece,
I will be returning to the track this weekend to race with the JPD gang.
It has been a frustrating process:banghead: but I am very excited about getting back on the track. I feel like a child on Christmas Eve.:biggrin2:
I look forward to seeing everyone at TNT tomorrow and the race on Saturday.:smile:

I am so excited about getting back that I've been thinking today is Friday
and just realized, at lunch, that I've got to wait till tomorrow to test it.:frown:
I've known for a long time that I've got the racing bug pretty bad, but
the last 10 weeks have been unbeareable! :banghead:
Hector, if you are able to make it on Saturday, make sure you come by
and introduce yourself. I have been looking forward to meeting you.

Glad to report that my engine rebuild was a success - the car ran great,
running the number for 3 rounds on Saturday 7.21 DI (7.2051, 7.215, 7.218).
Now I need to tune up the guy that sits behind the steering wheel.
I had 1st round in the bag by 5 numbers and broke out by .0049 and
red lit 2nd round by .0079.:frown:
It was great to be back at the track. Just wish we could have raced
again on Sunday, today, tomorrow, etc.
