Hey Mike - now that the sun sets shortly after 5 pm and the temps dropping
like a rock, can we consider beginning racing earlier in the day? I know we
backed times up during the latter part of the Hot summer - what does everyone think about moving the times up for the rest of the year?
Something similar to the 11/11/06 schedule?

Maybe we can take an informal survey and see what works best for the majority. Maybe for the two final remaining races this month, 18th and the
25th, we could start at 11:00 or 12:00 and be done by sun down. What does everyone think?

We definately need to open the gates earlier. Eazier on everyone.
Just open the gates at 12:00, call this the winter time hours and do this after the bracket finals and until first weekend of April from now on. From April till the bracket finals, open the gates at 2:00 or 3:00. Then there will be no questions and everyone will always know. Just my 2cents.

Brian I totally agree on the uniform times throughout the season. That's one of the many things we'll try and have in place for the upcoming season. We've elected to keep the test-n-tune times on Friday's 6:00-10:00 year round. If we expand our Friday night program we can always run until 11:00, just not open the gates any earlier. Maybe I can print up a simple survey form for people to fill out with their ideas on start times especially during the summer months. It might be just me but it seemed to work a little better starting around 4:00 during the hottest part of the season. Maybe we can come up with a formula where we could open the gates at 5:00 on Saturday and complete the race program at 11:00. Possible limit time runs and buy-backs to a minimum and see how that plays out with length of program.

I am with you Brian & Mike - a uniformed seasonal schedule would make it simple for everyone. Now is a good time for everyone to begin sharing their
ideas on things to do for next year.
