Mark welcome into the Pageland Dragway family. I had the pleasure to attend our first P.T.R.A. board meeting last night at Jerry and Sara Cline's house in Mooresville. The Cline's are wonderful host and the meal and fellowship was worth every mile drove to get there. It was great to see the other board members there and to see their passion for drag racing. The racers that sit on the board come from varying back grounds. Some have bracket raced over the years, some have run IHRA/NHRA class competition and some started out index or heads-up racing. So to say the least there is a wealth of knowledge and experience in the group.

I challenge our racers that haven't given the new format a try to do so in 2007. Maybe start with Pro Tree Eliminator and go from there. With 6 classes to choose from there should be something for all racers and the fans to enjoy. Tony and Michelle Brown spend a great deal of time and energy on the series and with your help, the racers, it can be successful.
