Up for grabs... 2004 LS1 long block out of an 04 GTO. Block has approx 39,XXX miles on it. Internals are in like new condition. Crank looks great. No scarring on piston heads... but some carbon build-up. Nothing more than you'd expect on a performance tuned engine. Everything in this motor looks great. I thought I had spun a rod bearing but upon tear down and inspection, there is no damage whatsoever, and the noise ended up being a header leak. (??!!!) It's a long, drawn out drama, but if want particulars about this erroneous diagnoses... PM me. I'm selling cuz I swapped this motor out for an LS6 from a 2004 Z06. The motor is at Bradley Auto Parts 5601 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail... if you'd like to see it in person. Or you can call Mike Bradley 704-821-6234. He can answer any question about it. Right Mikey?
