question about trailer winch

I just ordered me a winch for my car trailer and was wondering if they make a wiring kit from the front of the truck (battery) to the bumper or somewheer in back so I dont have to lug a battery around just for the winch?I know most ppl are gonna say just buy some wire and run it, but Id much rather buy a kit if it is available.

It would be cheaper for you in the long run to mount a battery near the winch. You can run a 10ga. wire from your truck battery to your trailer plug to charge the winch battery on the way to the track. Another plus is if you happen to need a battery at the track you have a charged battery waiting to be used. Hope this info helps you out, Gary.
