I'll post this for the people who have never seen how this is done. There is a bar through the mains and another bar through the camshaft bore which positions a precision plate to the front of the motor. Using the plate as a reference allows the deck angle to be machined at the proper angles and same height on both sides. If you do this prior to boring the cylinders it will also correct the bore angles. Even this higher end aftermarket block was .004 higher on one side and .002 out end to end. Some factory blocks are terrible. RM
