LMAO....well I went back looking and when I asked about gear size I left out 1 huge variable....MY TRANNY.Yall were probably assumin that I was running a glide, but its a 350 turbo.I have the 5.14 in now so its to late.Ill see how bad it is with the turbo, but I have a very deep down feeling that Ill have to get a glide.OH WELL.........LMAO.I appreciated all the answers I got with that post tho.I will be there next sat for T&T so look for a lil S-10 in primer and wish me luck!

Depending on your shift rpm's, you may be surprised at how well
your combination works. I run a 4.88 gear w/ a 350 turbo, shift to
2nd & 3rd @ 6200 rpm and go thru the beams @ 6000 rpm at the
finish line. Perfect set-up for me. I've often considered a glide but
this set-up works so well I see little need to change.
Good luck testing and getting things dialed in.
The predicted temp is about 60 F and sunny.
See you Saturday!

Thanks for the response Rick,I feel a lil better now with that response LOL.That is the rpm range im looking to shift, maybe just a tad bit higher so maybe this 5.14 will be the trick and let it eat as Joe says lol.See ya if your theer.Oh one other thing, what is your tire height Rick?

Hey Brian - my tires are 28.5" x 10.5".
Shifting a little higher should make it real close with your set-up,
depending on your tire size?
I'll track you down on Saturday.
