Looks great Joe. You know I have to ask, are the bung cords PTRA and IHRA approved?:propeller:

Hope to see you at the track this season.

IHRA will require me to remove the cords but NHRA is just fine with them supporting the trunk hinges.......LOL. RM

Hey Joe,

Your car looks great. Did you convert it from a ladder bar setup or just update the 4 link.

Jamie, As you may recall I origionally built it as a ladder bar car. I cut that all out and converted it to this 4 link system with a new frame and cage. Decided to replace the red interior with brush finished satin aluminium like I put in my old Beretta. With the new motor the car as it was would have been pretty violent at the launch so the 4 link will let me tame it down as necessary. I'll probably try and run it with the old motor and converter very soon then after a shake down put the new motor and converter in it and let it eat.......LOL. JM

Thanks Rick. I am trying to get the car done for the PTRA race and I'll run it with the old motor if I can pull that off. I'll just run the 6.0 again if I make it. I did get the short block of the new motor together this afternoon. We'll just see how it goes. JM

Well I'm still working away trying to get the car and motor done. The car may get finished in time for the PTRA opener next week and that is my goal right now. I'll run it with the old motor in it if I can finish it up. The new motor should go to the dyno next week if all goes as planned. I get the dyno numbers and get a new converter coming before I can install the new motor. Been working wounded all week. Went to sleep last Sun and was fine, woke up with alot of pain in my neck/shoulder and been smelling Ben *** and eating pain killers since Monday. Getting old isn't for sissies and if you're going to be stupid you got to be tough........LOL. JM
