I'll toot our own horn here for a second. Hats off to the track staff, yes this includes owners Tim and Jeff, and the safety crew on hand last night. When Greg lost the car transitioning from the water box, hit the guardrail, flipped through the Tree and came to rest upside down in the opposite lane up against the guardrail I knew this wasn't going to be good. Luckily Greg wasn't hurt and the guys reconstructed the tree with new bulbs to finish the race. The fireman and medic on hand for the Top Sportsman testing did a great job getting to the scene quickly and professionally. It also says what professionals these Pro Mod drivers are when the next car up to make a pass was Kelly Martin piloting the beautiful 1957 Chevrolet out of the Mickey Plyler Motorsport camp setting a new track record of 4.18 @ 174.38 mph and then Michael Martin made a pass behind Kelly and went a 4.36 @ 162.95 mph in the Corvette. Just another reason we push safety first and foremost each and every week.

The track staff, owners and safety personell did an excellent job responding to Saturday's incident and getting the track back in race condition. Great job by everyone involved. Per usual, the Pageland Team ran a super smooth race
even with the turmoil they faced.

Bob I would like to have a copy of the pics.

I thought the crowd would go wild when the smoke cleared, literally, when you and Ed ran and Ed clicked off a 7.99 with the 04 Chevy pickup. Ed got a little anxious that last round and turned on the red light.
