A new nostalgic series, Carolina Gassers, will have two participants match racing tomorrow night. This will be a "Best 2 out of 3" shootout between father and son. Jim Guillen will be piloting the 1957 English Ford equipped with a bottle fed 351 windsor and his son Jimmy will be wheeling the 1936 Fiat powered by a 406 cubic inch small block Chevrolet.
These cars bring back the yesteryears of nostalgic drag racing. The Carolina Gassers require that all vehicles must be 1964 and older and the E.T. range is 6.99 and quicker, Pro Tree, dial-in format. The full details for the new series will be available soon.
