Mother nature just didn't want to cooperate with the racing community this weekend. Corey Barnes, president of 1st Class Promotions, and staff made the wise call early to postpone the event. The rain date for KOS4 is Saturday May 19. There will not be an IHRA SSS points race on the 19th. Also scheduled was the Southern Street Cars Association Outlaw Real Street race along with a Chester Drag Racing Association club race for Friday and Saturday. I'll call Mike Fulbright tomorrow to discuss a rescheduling of their event and Tracy Jenkins to discuss our options for the C.D.R.A. club race.
Thank you for your understanding. Mr. Barnes has spent a great deal of time and money promoting the KOS4 and we owe him a professional courtesy to help him get this race done. I'll be back in town Monday and will post details as they become available.
