for this past weekends DoorSlammer ShootOut!!!
My crew and I had a blast at this race and hope that ya'll give it another shot next year. I was happy to run some of the best racers that JP has to offer. That Anne Jackson and I had a great run, I believe I was .516 to her .518 and I was .002 over my dail while she was .004 under hers. I knew it was going to be tight at the stripe and ripped it a couple of times just to make sure I wasn't going under. Though I didn't get to speak to the Jackson crowd much they seemed to be some first class folks. Some of the other tough ones I got to run was Richard Charnock and last years #3 Stock Eliminator (Can't remember the first name) Mayhew.
The track was awsome, my first 60 foot time of the day was 1.330 and my last one before the rear end broke was 1.329. I had 5 60 foot times that was spread apart by a mere .001. WOW, can't say enough about the track. Got to meet some folks that I never would have meet had this event not taken place.
Again, thanks to Michael Beard and Mike Bradley on one heck of a race. Had that rear end not broke I believe I could have added an Iron Man next to my Piedmont Dragway Championship Trophey. Thanks again, and Take Care.
