Hank I believe it was Shane Hucks, Shane Hucks Photography, that gets credit for the picture. I feel like we've had one of the best racing surfaces anywhere this season especially in the heat. We started making our own traction compound this season which has allowed for a more consistent application week in and week out. Beard said we should package our compound and sell it. Never say never but we have no desire right now to mass produce the product. We're still looking for that last little edge. I sent off a new batch of compound chemicals to the chemist today. We'll try our best to be even better in 2008.

Hey McGee, I thought that was your Red Sled pictured on the homepage!
Sure is a great shot! Shane Hucks keeps a folder by dates of Pageland photos on his website, so you should be able to locate it if you want him to print one for you.
Mike and his team have done a great job with the track.

I'm thinking about running the points there next year. Just had a good time the 2 times I came down last year. An old truck driver also gave me a short cut that cuts 30 minutes off the drive. I can now make it in 1 1/2 hours. We'll see, I hope the gas prices come down by then, 9 MPG while pulling the enclosed sucks.:eek:

Hey Hank we make the drive every wk 1 .15 - 1 1/2 & really enjoy it. IMO these are some of the finest track operaters around. The racers are some of the best also as for the fuel prices well i don't think it will be dropping much. I do fell what you're talking about my F 250 has a v10 & we also pull a box. We pass right by a track every wk end to go to JPD B/C of the staff & the frendly people there. Long & Short story would love to have you & the crew the water is alwas warm for new comers LOL :biggrin: You folks seem like real good people & you are a helluva racer if you don't get to race the ponits here just come race with us when you can. Oh almost forgot the pic is a fine one for sure.
