A buddy bought a 57 Ford project that was never finished. Had it in the shop awhile now. Replaced most of the framework, suspension, 4 link and roll cage so far. All steel body narrowed 3.5 inches and the top is chopped 2 inches. Car will be MS 25.4 legal when we get done. Lots of work yet to be done. JM

Got the 4 link, anti roll, shocks and wishbone done now. I also got my Nova striped or all the trim so I can paint it. Hope to have the Nova ready by the end of Feb. The Ford will be awhile....LOL. RM

Joe looks like the 57 coming along nicely. Will it be Ford powered or some other power plant?

Danny has a 411 SBF that he says makes about 750 HP for it plus a glide. Nice seeing you again at CDRA last week. JM

411 inches should get the job done nicely.

I thought the meeting went very well. The Chester Drag Racing Association (CDRA) is a good group of racers. We always appreciate y'all racing with us and being a part of Team Pageland. I'm having dinner with my Uncle (moms brother) Saturday and I'm going to discuss advertising and promotions with him regarding CDRA. He owns Textile Arts and Film located on Saluda Street in Chester and has other business ties in the community.

Hope to see you at the track this season.

Well I got the 57 done, and now the chassis is off to the powder coaters. I am done with my part and the owner hopes to have it back together and race ready by summer. JM
